Why I'm Thankful
Why I'm Thankful

It would be safe to say I don't much care for the "thrice damned" Holidays.

After all, the notion that we have to set aside a special day to be thankful, or to generous or whatever is pretty damned limiting and pretty damned silly a piece of social programming.

However, when in Rome….do like the Romans. Or DO a Roman. Hard. In the "culo".

In any case, here is what I am most grateful for, this morning, on Thanksgiving Day.

1. The female body. God, I just love WOMEN. Not just their bodies, mind you butt.. There is just something so amazing about a firm, gorgeous, female ass. Now don't you go writing to me
about what a "pig" I am. I do NOT see women as just butts, or boobs, whatever. As I have said for years, I always strive to see women as a whole.

2. My spanky cats, Taz and Tabby Jean. . Now, just what IS a "spanky cat"? A spanky cat is a cat who is ALWAYS being naughty.
Always chewing power cords, connecting wires, phone lines.
Always climbing the drapes.
Always biting my girlfriends.
Always pooping the carpet, rocketing around the house at midnight, dancing on the keyboard(and deleting what I've written),
always shedding fur everywhere.
And always keeping me entertained and educating me every day on what it is like to REALLY have an attitude of "no apologies for what I desire".
My cats keep me honest and in perspective. God, I truly love my fur babies.

3. My friends. You know, I have some amazing people in my life.
They are all of them odd-ducks; marching to a different beat, seeing life in a unique way. I learn from all of them and they are all incredible people, gems in my crown. I can't tell you how lucky I am.

4. My parents, who are still, despite many, many health challenges, still alive and kicking.

Listen: this year was very challenging with my Mom and Dad. I really thought I was going to lose them both, many times, and in fact, there was not a single time I went out of town to teach a Speed Seduction® Seminar in 2005 when one or both of them was NOT in the hospital. But they always both encouraged me to go do my job.

In fact, this past September, my mother was so ill, we had her in a hospice program to help her pass from this world. When I left for England to teach, I did not know if she would still be
alive when I returned home or able to recognize me. But when I asked her should I go, she said, "Go..and you better do a good job. Don't make excuses".

Thank God she bounced back and is with us to celebrate Thanksgiving today, as is my Dad.

5. This job. There is no greater satisfaction to me than knowing that I am changing lives profoundly for the better, knowing that the pain I went through wasn't for nothing, but that it was fuel for the fire that burns here.

6. My students. I can't tell you how much I learn from you guys, as I teach, I learn.

7.And finally, I'm so very grateful to all the many, many girls who rejected me over and over and over again so many years ago. Ladies, were it not for you, none of this would be here. I would probably be 20 years into being married, 3 kids, and working as
a lawyer somewhere, being absolutely miserable. And none of this would ever have come about. Shudder.

Now, how about you? Is this holiday screwed-up or is life pretty great for you?

Well, if you are experiencing lots of "challenges" as some would put it, get excited.

Because it is really from my challenges that I have learned and grown the most.

There truly is a gift in there my friend. But it takes compassion for yourself, first and foremost, to find it.

And if you can't manage that, just try to remember what the Chinese say:

"If you can't be grateful for what you have, be grateful for what you've managed to avoid!"

Piece and peace during the thrice-damned Holiday Season,

RJ

P.S. Don't you want to be thankful for lots of success, choice and power with the women you really want…without begging or bullying? Just go here:

P.P.S. I forgot to mention that I am very thankful to and for all of my siblings, and very thankful especially for my sister Marion's sons, my incredible nephews, Ari, Gideon, Gabe(the girlfriend stealer) and David Eitan. These beautiful, incredible young men are more like my brothers than nephews. And watch out for Gideon and Gabe-these two young p*mps in training are already studying their Speed Seduction Courses and may one day take over the franchise!

They are especially fond my of Gold Walk Up DVD: http://www.seductiontuition.com/speed-seduction

P.P.P.S. Don't get me wrong: I love all of my nieces and nephews. It's just these kids(and their Mom) have a special place in my heart. It's a great thing to be part of their "manicomio". (That's "madhouse" for those of you who do not speak Espaniol!)
